Atlantic Coast Airlines, which derives 85% of its returns from its activities as a United Expres codeshare partner, filed a motion with the court overseeing United Airlines' bankruptcy reorganization asking it to order United to decide on Feb. 28 whether it intends to honor its existing service agreements with ACA. UAL reportedly is proposing to bring drastically the amount it pays to its Regional partners subordinate to the fee-for-departure arrangements common to the industry.

The motion, filed Dec 27 asks that United be ordered to confirm or abjure that ACA will be compensated
