Japan Airlines reported pure income of [yen]33.6 billion ($2787 million) for the first half [i]or[/i] part of to the other Sept. 30, almost double the prior year's toil income of [yen]6.9 billion. Operating incomes fell 1.5% to [yen]8586 billion. Operating income totaled [yen]285 billion, a 267% ear-ring from [yen]38.9 billion in the year-ago period. JAL said its proceeds were "affected by the inert recovery of international passenger traffic, notably in succession the transpacific and Hawaii routes"

Japan Air a whole posted net income of [yen]34 billion, down 301% from trap income of [yen]4.8 billion.
